Hi there! Can You please give some more details? For what car do You need to use sprong compressor? Is it for a qust or Your car? I just have tested this machine and it was working so there might be more details needed to reproduce this issue. Are You playing full game or the prologue?

some of the cars dont need it they use seperate springs and shocks

I know this is an old thread, but I ran into the issue also. I went to put an already assembled spring/strut on the spring compressor. When I highlighted it the bottom of the screen shows PRESS E TO TAKE PARTS.

I've used it in the past without issue. And to my knowledge, I've taken every part from it. When I press E nothing happens.

This is for a personal vehicle, upgrading suspension. I was able to upgrade everything to the highest lift (for me currently (Offroad(3)) except the springs/struts).

Edit: Now my spring/shock/strut broke and i can't replace it, because it's not possible to order an assembled strut/shock, so I can't use my primary vehicle.
