We're there any kind of news since the last announcement of the "late summer" game's update? I highly doubt it's cancelled, although there wasn't anything about release date

Does this game not have controller support, or is it just me?

1. The fact that Gastronamole barely ever sells HP ups makes success even more reliant on getting lucky. 2. The bonus HP makes certain enemies painful to deal with (most notably those that have 1 HP and swarm the player) 3. Book of Bomb is STILL in the random pool and has lead to many situations for me where damage is unavoidable or Gears get broken. 4. There is no meta progression or other unlocks tied to the mode whatsoever so it feels pointless. I'm only at Knightmare 4 and this mode has already suc...

I've seen talk that a number of negative reviews are due to this being drastically different than the traditional Shovel Knight experience, being a roguelike and all. And the difficulty stemming from that. This isn't saying that's an "invalid" reason to dislike this game or anything by the way, it's just relevant to my quesiton. But I like roguelikes as well as shovel knight. So, to others who do like roguelikes, is this a good game?...
