how do I get loans?
I'm trying to get the debt evasion achievement, I've got my banks to level 3 but I'm not seeing the button that lets me take out a loan.

You need to level up your cursors (at least level 4 for the first loan) and upgrade your office to unlock loans.

But they are not as good as you think. For the first two hours you get +50 % CPS, but then for the next 4 hours you get -75 % CPS. You also need to pay 20 % of your current bank

The loans are a must for stacking buffs in the late game so you can get huge amounts of cookies for the achievements. If you get all three loans + sugar frenzy + frenzy + click frenzy + two building specials at the same time then you'll get like 500-600% your current prestige in 30 seconds

What you say is not untrue, but the OP does not care. He/she is going for debt evasion. You ascend before you have to pay it back, there's no penalty. Just free cookies.
