At night 3 March 2022(West Indonesia time, GMT+7), we have update new version of Dato of Srivijaya 1.1.

There are many new things in this version ;

>New Map updated
>Fixed time speed
>Mini map can be shortcut to go another region
>Fixed recruiting all soliders
>Fixed religion information
>Add new SFX in constructing and recruiting
>Add new system: constructing only 1 buildings and another building must wait.
>Add new system:Several buildings need support another buildings level
>Add siege system
>Add new system in market and trade routes
>Add battle system
>Naval battle syste,
+Fixed consume and effect in campaign troops
+New opening and victory scene style
+New land and sea trading system
Although this version not perfect but more good than previous version.
There are more update for Dato of Srivijaya but we focus to other project like Perang Laut-Maritime Warfare and new game.

After long time not give any information about the update, now we have time to update in this community.

Now we want show many new update for Dato of Srivijaya

Navy
In this version, you can see the new interface for navy

Sea battle

Sea battle information in new version Dato of Srivijaya. You can choose options: firing with arrows and boarding (like in Perang Laut-Maritime Warfare)

Land battle
In land batle, you can order your troops in fighting from offensive, half offensive, and defensive.
Offensive for order troops attacking the enemy
Half offensive means not all troops attacking like archer.
Defensive means all troops will foces in defending their position
Siege

Now you can choose order in siege the town from just siege them, firing with arrow, or offensive
This is what we can told in this section.

Dear everyone...

As you know, comparing Perang Laut-Maritime Warfare, Dato of Srivijaya very lack in many sectors and have many bugs.

So after we already updated Perang Laut-Maritime Warfare 1.25 several hours ago, we will focus in this game!

Most of update will fix the graphics, bug, and manythings.

Release date of the update sill uncertain but we hope we can release it in 14 December 2021 (1 year Dato of Srivijaya released in Steam)

Dato of Srivijaya have many story from how this project start, got fund, and challenge in development

Several days ago, the game director of this project has written the post mortem Dato of Srivijaya in Gama sutra.

After 2.5 months developing 1.05 (lot of problems happen since only one programmer working).,
Dato of Srivijaya 1.05 has been released!!

In this version, many new things like.
-> You can play Mataram (Javanese), Sunda(Sundanese), and Srivijaya (Malay)
_>Opening visual for Srivijaya
->New visual for town, village, and city depends on region
->Week time to Month time with moon image(but its not change builidng system time).
->Naval battle (for now only Srivijaya, Sunda, and Java can send naval expedition).
->New Achivements !
-> Trade routes Chinese and Indian. Locals will come soon in 1.07 version


However many plans annonced before pending in 1.07 version.

1.07 will make 1-2 factions can playable and new system like vasal and diplomatic. When this version out?
Hope in early April 2021.

Some advice
1.Sunda:Recommend and more easier to control compare Srivijaya, lack of mans in first time, and Mataram, problem of stability.
2.Srivijaya:Need to play to understanding basic of Dato of Srivijaya, but expansion of Srivijaya quite hard since facing Malay.
3.Mataram:Quite hard since stability become first problem before expansion.

We have bad and good news

Bad news is new version delay to since we fixing many bugs in this game. Also add new features which take much time.

Dato of Srivijaya 1.00 has released and you can play it, but this version still temporal .

Why? Many things not yet add since our our project deadline very near and we need to make final report for this project. Also many ilustrator not yet finish their draw since
they have school and this is big project for them so this is first time
So this is limited version (like early access) and don't worry, Dato of Srivijaya will have big update soon especially near Xmas!

Some features has complate and not

>Conquer settlements in everywhere

>All kingdoms AI has added, but only several can sent military mission. Also their knowledge not so smart now. If you has play Pedalahusa Fall of Bali and Perang Laut Maritime Warfare (our game before , but not in Steam), the system quite similiar.

>Time limited only to 700 AD
>Diplomatic features not complate (no vasal system yet)

>Battle System not perfect
>No historical events
>International trading and diplomation not yet set

>Only Srivijaya now can have navy (and only playable faction in this version)

Mataram Kingdom is Ancient Javanese Kingdom in central Java about 8th century. Mataram will show after Holing become Mataram since in history, Mataram formed by King Sanjaya so Holing will become part of Mataram. Mataram Kingdom have ability to construct Geat junk as special unit and only kingdom can construct big candi based on history many big candi like Borobudur, Prambanan and Dieng build in Mataram's reign.


Like Srivijaya, Mataram isd one of agressive kingdom either in land or seas and one of rival of Srivijaya in sea domination...

Here some news

Propably we will release game in 14 December 2020 (tommorow), but limited features (we will give information about this soon) since we must release as possible and focus in making final report for this project after that. The main problem is mostly we make RTS game like this always long and the fastest is Surabaya Inferno only 3 months and updating for Steam version 1 month. This game made from basic until become like this from 6 October 2020 until now (2 months).
