Infection Free Zone is a city builder, survival game in a post-apocalyptic world that permits you to establish a base of survivors in a world that is living a pandemic. The original aspect of this game, is that you can actually play in a real world map, with real cities and streets, with real buildings! So you can actually establish the HQ in your house and grow the base from that point!! From there, you just have to scavenge, collect and farm materials, do research, fight monsters and the virus itself!

At this time, the game is already playable with most of the mechanics that will be present in the final game. Unfortunately, a lot of content is still missing and there are several bugs, some of them are game breaking. But I do want to leave a positive review because the devs are working hard to fix those bugs and, at the same time, are implementing new features to the game.

With the hope that they will not abandon this game, and that they will keep the pace, I suggest you to put this game at least on your wishlist, because trust me, it's not the usual survival game! ;)

A great idea, but the game currently has a lot of problems.

First, time passes so quickly in the game that workers can't do much work during the day.
There is no prompt when a squad is idle, and when I have multiple squads I must always check the status of each of my squads. The pathfinding mechanic is ridiculous, if a squad is bound to a vehicle, they will always return to the vehicle no matter how close they are to their destination, which sometimes results in squad attrition during combat.

Workers also cannot be bound to important buildings. When there are staff gaps in important positions due to illness or death, I have to manually adjust the staffing (in fact, this happens often, people get sick every day in the game, and there is no prompt for these staff changes) .

The bug that bothers me the most is that the game will generate small, narrow outbuildings next to large buildings. However, these small buildings frequently cause pathfinding problems. After I selected the search area for my team, they would just stand around these outbuildings. And because there is no squad idle prompt, it often happens that the squad has been standing there all day and I only realize after dark that they have done nothing for the day.

the game is quite fun and interesting, we'll see if they add some kind of "completion" or goals down the road.

3 important annoying issues I would love they fix:
1. Remember rotation of the builds, cause placing multiple fields/farms is EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING!!!
2. Ability to disable buildings (I can clear the workers, but the next day or two they automatically start working for whatever reason)
3. Remember and respect my selection for production, like for example if I select rifle and there is no enough iron, DON'T SWITCH TO PISTOLS!!!!!!!!
