I'd say you should get this game, but I'd recommend waiting till its on sale because its really not worth 20 dollars.

Its a very unique game; with a bizarre combination of rng, resource management, a story centric narrative that I wouldn't think would work but kind of does. The game is split up into chapters, with each chapter having you play a random generic teen runaway on their way to cross the border out of an authoritarian state in an upcoming election. Your decisions as each teen ultimately will affect the election and the subsequent ending you get. And don't get the wrong imprecision, your choices will matter. Your teen on that run can die very easily should you make bad decisions.
Despite being filled to the brim with political commentary, the story is actually pretty simple. Its okay as far as video game stories go, but don't expect masterful writing or dialogue. That ultimately is the thing that hurts this game the most since so much of it is focused on story with gameplay being more of a side show to remind you this is still a videogame. I'd say there's more gameplay then a game like life is strange, but that is a low bar to pass.
But with all its flaws, it creates for a very unique experience that I still enjoyed. And I think you will too.

This game is amazing. I really enjoyed playing every minute of it. Characters are great, unique with their own personality. I will definitely play it again soon.
