I think you mean GoW Ragnarok? Yes, it was a financial success despite being MILDLY woke, but only because its a sequel. Riding off the non-woke success of its predecessor. Just like Spiderman 2, Alan Wake 2 and Suicide Squad.

And what happens when woke tries to be original instead of infecting an existing franchise?

The thing about woke content is they can survive by parasitizing the big IP, but when they try to create a new IP on its own, there’s a high chance of failure. This is not a rule, as you can easily find someone who has smoked for 60 years and still not get lung cancer. If you assume smoking won't kill you based on that, then good for you.

Just think about it: "Dustborn" didn't actually "fail". It was paid for by government's grants and subsidies. There also might be a lot more to this but it is yet to be leaked. So makers do not bother with sales, given the uncovered old Red Thread Games forum's post revealing how simply bad and woke those people actually are, and all of that dates waaaaay back to 2014-2015.

Oh? Then why are you feeling so insecure about Stellar Blade and Last Descendant female designs? Fictional characters don't have to be ugly, just because you are.
