I really am excited.
What I'd like to see in it so far would be:
-Each faction in the game having it's own colour.
The friend/ally/foe colours could still be an option of course, but I think it's a little thing that could add immersion, helping to tell the different ones apart.
-All named leaders getting their own appearance.
I was a bit disappointed that one who became a different class in the story suddenly looked like a generic paladin. Would be nice if she had kept a unique colour scheme.
-A third tier sword and shield unit.
I feel like that option is missing, could maybe be a foot knight or such.
-More ways to get resources.
It can be tricky to get enough to upgrade your units, especially when you lose some during missions that you already spend resources on in upgrades.
Gold is just fine, but the material resources could use a bit more. Like maybe more mines or more of it being on sale in shops.
