How to picklock?
I assumed locked doors in towns are just for show. But then I encountered a locked chest (I think) in a gremlin area. I can't seem to find any way to unlock it, or whether there's even a picklock system? were you supposed to find the key for it?

Locked doors in towns can be houses you can buy or, if I'm remembering correctly, shops closed due to fallen town prosperity.

Locked doors in dungeons are quest-related, can be unlocked with keys or when quests reach specific stages.

Locked chest in a gremlin area might be a trap door specific to a certain quest, and would open when you'd reach a certain stage in this quest.
