"Potential fix"?
A fix is a fix or is not a fix, It is never a "potential fix" as you stated in the notes. A "potential fix" is basically the same as "broken". Shouldn't a fix be tested to make sure it indeed fixed the problem? Rather than basically telling us MAYBE it did?

Sometimes, an issue can not be reliably replicated - I work on finding a solution, but it's difficult to be 100% sure that the problem is fixed if there is no way to force it to appear.

In this case, if I find one solution for a problem but can't be 100% sure that there isn't a secondary cause, I write "potential fix" in the patch notes, indicating that a fix has been implemented and verified, but that it wasn't possible to be sure that there aren't other causes.
