Samurai Vandalism tried to paint things more in the grey moral area by making Byakuya consisting of some characters of questionable morals, but the leader is again the Big Good. So in every oneone1 game the resistance is just in their intent to overthrow the corrupt government. So the question is why would anyone want to protect it?
