Why searching stuff in this game is so hard, it took me so much time in the cabin scene

First of all, I recommend it for it being a cozy little story game if you have a day off.
But why thumbs down? THE PRICE.
30 Bucks for a game this short, shorter than LIS Saga and still more expensive. I dont get it.
I was bored the first 3 hours and that was already halfway in. I didnt even get attached to other characters than Sam.
Who is Sam? Who is HIM? What was going on in Sams childhood? Why wont we cover more of Annas and Sam unfinished relationship?
Why was the Plot Twist so... short and abrupt when the story almost ended?
It dragged out many moments where you had to find clues in an open area but kept it short on moments where it MATTERED.
I LOVED the mind place, I loved every single bit about it.
But who is Sam?
It is a forgettable game.
