US side:
101st has better infantry, better heli tab and worse air tab than 82nd
USSR side:
56th probably has better infantry overall (Spetsnaz for 35th but other options worse than 56th), worse heli tab and roughly the same air tab (35th has slightly better ASFs and good SEAD but worse AT options than 56th)
The new divs are balanced and not pay to win. If you're losing to them it's a skill issue.
And 56th much better than 35th for example.
101st has better tank tab than any other airborne div (better than 82, 11, 35 or 56). Better arty than any other airborne divs except for 56th - and you still have better tube arty than 56th. You have small air tab, no SEAD, but your ASFs (the most important part of air tab for every heli-based division) better than majority of divs in the game, and massively better than 35, 56 and probably even 11. If we're counting 2nd UK as a similar div - 101st has worse arty but similar tank tab and stronger ASFs.
56th - A-tier, 101st - S-tier (at least if person know how to play). Problems while using 101st - not because of the fact that it's weaker but because of skill-issues
