I think mostly it will be set around Europe with 2 North American factions (Canada and the United States) and the European Powers of NATO and the Warsaw Pact

I was going to suggest Afghan Mujahideen, pulling from the Soviet / Afghan war, but that might be a 'too soon'.

Afghan Mujahideen volunteers fighting for 'Murica and NATO is not a bad idea.

isnt this DIVERSITY already done in the other wargames??

so whats different this time in this DIVERSITY....

I am OK with the base divisions coming from the USA, UK, France, W.Ger, E.Ger and USSR so long as like with SD2 we get expansion DLCs adding different theaters.

Part of the mistake of SD1 -> SD2 is that it didn't carry all of the divisions from the previous game over to the new one.
