WARNO
Mods that give NATO a buff in AG?
I had a mod a little while ago that buffed all NATO units range, HP and deployment points in AG and made it infinitely more playable. It is no longer active, so I am wondering if there are any similar mods out there?

Cheers!

Huh? I'll just have to ask the very simple question, are you aware that Nato is meant to have a disadvantage on purpose in the initial campaigns, and even then only for little under half of the campaign until reinforcements start coming in?

It totally negates the whole idea of the campaign if you super charge Nato, especially since you can already effectively dominate the Pact Battalions to the point where when your actual forces do come in, it's a clean-up operation against the now devastated Pact Battalions.

If you want the opposite experience, NORTHAG is the one to play, as that is the one where the roles are reversed. The whole point of those Campaigns is that they are unbalanced, and that's why you can play them on both sides.

No, I was just asking a rather simple question. It is not exactly a complicated notion to think that a side which is blindsided by a sudden all-out invasion would be on the backfoot at the start of the said offensive before it can muster an effective force to fight it back.

Which in-game translates into the player knowingly choosing between playing on the side that is on the said backfoot, or which has the advantage, with the full knowledge that the tables turn depending on your own abilities. As Nato, you need to hold tooth and nail until those reinforcements arrive, which in turn translates into a difficult start that can quickly get painful and then eases up as the Soviet Battalions become depleted and exhausted, where as Pact you have to keep pushing, pushing, and pushing, so the start will be easy, but the moment you reach the actual effective combat units and proper formations, suddenly it isn't a cake walk anymore.

Thus the suggestion to play Northag, as it is the campaign specifically meant to be the opposite experience to the prior ones. Nato is the one on the offensive, thus having the overwhelming advantage.

I know what you're saying, and I agree. I understand the concept and that the odds are stacked against NATO.

I just want to have fun playing it the way I want to play it. I.E by kicking the ♥♥♥♥ out of the PACT forces.

And with that, you have just earned an absolutely massive amount of respect.

Too many times we have seen similar topics pop up in the discussions where people ask this for one side, and the motivation is because they are of the belief that their faction is 'clearly being represented in a bad light'. However, when it is because one wants to have fun, and they admit it solely to be because they want to have said fun through something that is not enforced on anyone else, then I 100% support it.

Honestly it would be neat in general if AG had its own little customization option where you can just go nuts with the balancing. Increased player income, reduced player income, increased veterancy, reduced veterancy, and so on. Straight up should just be in the game, a tad silly in my opinion that it isn't. While the difficulty option exists, it doesn't do the same thing as what this is meant to do, which is what you described, a way to super charge yourself just so you can kick the daylights out of the opposition.
