If you just want to replace the model used, you can go into WARNO/Mods/(ModName)/GameData/Generated/Gameplay/Gfx/Infanterie/GeneratedDepictionInfantry.ndf and find the specific squad you're looking for, and under TacticDepiction_(Unit name here)_Alternatives swap out the high LOD models for others until you like what you've got; only do infantry for infantry of course.
