I don't know if you can beat the game in 4 hours, but if you do, you will miss all the fun and won't appreciate the effort from the creator to make such a well written game.

9 hours for me. It's a funny game with fantastic history.

First playthrough in slightly under 5 hours. The puzzles were mostly easy and made sense. Could have finished it even sooner if it wasn't for a couple of items that were hard to see and took some pixel hunting.

One rule that I made up and always happens: for every point n click games there will be a player that will complain of too many puzzles and too hard and other that will complain of too few puzzles and too easy. Having said that, around 7 hours for me.
