Gesture/swype typing for virtual keyboard

Would be a great feature and make typing much faster. It's pretty standard on phone keyboards nowadays, including the default android keyboard. Please consider adding it!

Bump. I am so used to this on my phone, typing without it is very slow and cumbersome. using the two track-pads is better, but the learning curve is huge, and its not quite as effective as a swpye style typing method. Being able to use swype typing would allow greater flexibility and ease of use to type on the steam deck with no physical keyboard. It would be amazing and greatly appreciated to add this.

Maybe they could partner with Futo? I remember Louis Rossman had a video a little while ago where he talked about how he needed people to help provide some samples of swiping to help train the swipe AI of the Futo keyboard because it turns out it's harder to get swipe-typing right than people generally expect.
