Well it’s technically both I guess.
Just thought about the Deck first, but is there a Feature Request forum for Steam itself too?
Only downside I can think of is that you'd end up with a bunch of screenshots of the same thing when multiple achievements are triggered at once.
Apparently, yes. No idea if anyone actually monitors it though.
It actually is a nice thing.
Yeah sure, on some games you get mostly black screens, since e.g. chapter trophies unlock during the fade out of a cutscene. Or you can get the same screenshot 2-3 times, since multi trophy unlocks at the same time.
But i also saw games e.g. Days Gone which actually manipulated the chapter trophy screenshot by pushing something from a cutscene it, so the screenshot is not from the actual second but from the cutscene a couple seconds before. Would be cool to have something similiar.
I will look into creating the same topic again on the steam request forum, thanks :)
I admit I don’t have the Beta installed. But it has been added in the most recent Beta steam client a few days ago.
According to the website. After you opted into the beta, it is apparently under “settings -> game recording”

Apparently, when you get an Achievemt, a “marker” gets set so you can save that moment in a clip / screenshot.
At least that’s how I am understanding it.
