When in docked mode i almost always use my steam deck in desktop mode. I'd like an option to have my steam deck launch straight into desktop mode when i turn it on. It would be even better if I could choose to only launch into desktop if the deck recognizes that it is docked.

After looking it up on google i found a way to do it with some lines of code in the terminal, but that disables the button in which you switch back to gaming mode. Besides that, if there were an option to just toggle it it would be way more user friendly. I've seen more people ask this on reddit so i it would benefit atleast some people.
