Is that even possible?
Gnome 40+ also introduced lots of additions to gnome. And in general I just desktop's and the app's look and feel much more than kde. It looks much cleaner and much more modern. And in general, the gnome shell and applications tends to be more refined than kde.
Really hoping once they open source steam os, someone make a gnome flavour for it cause that'd be sick.
Sadly you can't install that on the base model 😓
KDE mobile is also touch friendly DE. The UI is probably better than Gnome for tablets.
Right now, the project have nasty bugs right now. I hope they fix their worst bugs within 5 years.
I too love KDE. But for a console it's overkill in my opinion. Especially when it comes to rather inexperienced users.
I'd think KDE would be better for inexperienced users because, especially if they're using Steam, they're most likely coming from Windows and KDE is much more similar to WIndows than Gnome is.
GNOME is actually a bad tablet/mobile OS. LIbrem made PHOSH because Gnome is a desktop DE only. It turn out you do not want floating windows for mobile OS. You are inviting finger pain.
