Crysis Remastered is on the borderline of disaster because I have encountered some bugs and bad game design, which apparently also exist in the original game.
I like the game mechanics that grant you ultra speed, invisibility, and other features.
Speaking of AI, it's bad—very terrible, especially when playing on the highest difficulty you can imagine.
The optimization is poor. It's OK, but having a 4060 Ti does not guarantee that you can play on the highest ultra graphics settings.
The plot is mid. Missions are boring.

Conclusion: 5/10. As I said, it's on the borderline of failure, but let's show some mercy, because it can't be considered a bad game(It's a classic).

The biggest act of self-deprecation is trying to platinum this game, from bugs making you use no grenades otherwise you'll have to stick to a single gun, aliens getting stuck in the vtol defend objective so you need to restart to checkpoint or even mission.
I'll only recommend because I came as a boy and left a man playing this game, because the amount of stress I had to deal and not kill someone irl, break my entire room or similar is a big achievement. 10/10.

Before i start with all the negatives, the only positive thing about this remaster is that it does not reqiure EA play/origin like whats requiered for original and warhead. Rest is just plain bad. This is first time for me that remaster is actually worse in every way then original in technical and gameplay side of things.
First, graphics are worse then original and implmentation of suit mods from Crysis 2 made it even worse (there is reason why first Crysis is better remebered then later 2 game, because unlike those 2 games you have freedom to do it how ever you want and doesnt require you to turn on shield mod manually).
Game is also extremely buggy, AI constantly breaks, sound doesnt work right half of time and buildings randomly explode from 1 bullet into the wall.
Unless you have original CDs, i would not want any of you going and buying original on EA stores because those bastards dont deserve it for what they have done to this franchise, but if you REALLY want to try it then download Crysis Remastered Improvement Project just so experiance can be bearable.

Dear Crytek,
i am writing this as long fan of yours and Crysis is still one of my all time favorite shooters so its really hard to take when its finally released from chains of EA it ended up like this. I know old creators are long gone by now and you have bunch of new talent getting grip on Crytek engine but still that does not excuse you from realeasing remasters and not fixing it for 5 years. i would give you last chance that you fix all 3 remasters and also add missing things from Crysis 1 (like Warhead, Wars etc.) before releaseing upcoming Crysis 4, because rushing does not bring you confidance from you future buyers.
