Could not open save file. Your progress will not be saved...
Im getting this error, can anyone fix it? if you help me, ill get you a redeem code for a game!

I bought this game in the exploration sale which was awesome. I am having this problem on my Surface Pro running windows 10. Any fixes?

This actually worked for me, thank you! I'm running Windows 10 and my 'My Documents' folder is on another hard drive. It's like the game doesn't auto create a save path so thanks again!

If anyone is still having this problem, which I was until just now, giving MirrorsEdge.exe controlled folder access finally fixed this for me.

Go to ransomware protection in Windows Security. Click 'Allow an app through controlled folder access'. Select MirrorsEdge.exe which is likely to be in: Program Files (x86) -> Steam -> steamapps -> common -> mirrors edge -> Binaries
