yeah, if you can shoot down off of the ship (or theres ship guns) then yes

If devs want - then yes. There is already AI for enemy ships then it's possible to apply AI to our ship which is lore-wise controlled by real AI.

or there can be some flare you launch and the ship will bomb that area or act like a gunship using its installed guns,
