out of vram
i keep crashing every 5 to 10 mins and the error says out of video memory. I've tried everything i put everything at low and tried to running the game at 1080p and i still get the same error. I'm on a 4090 and I know i have enough vram. does anyone know a fix?

Same for me with a 7900 XTX with any settings in the game, i guess we need to wait for the next patch to fix it hopefully, i kinda fixed it by monitoring the VRAM useage and when it reaches about 80% i reload my game from the start menu (this is a temp fix but it works)

Yeah this sucks. I honestly wouldn't mind the performance issue so much if i could just play the game. I've been playing for about 2.5 hours and haven't finished the intro.

I am somehow running this game on a GTX 970 and I have not encountered a single issue.

There is a vram leak for sure now…I start at around 10gb on my 4090 and after 2 hours I start getting stuttering and I pull up rtss overlay and I’m at 22gb in use…that’s on 4K epic no rt no fsr …anyone with 10gb or less of vram should not be attempting 4K epic settings in any of the newer games anyways 16gb for those settings and res. The men leak for sure don’t help either…from what I have seen 14gb should be max without the leak.

I've been playing in 720p with all the lowest settings just to play. It helps for the most part and I can get about a hr sometimes 2 in if I'm lucky before it crashes. It looks hideous but you gotta do what ya can at this point

Yeah, so many peeps with decent setups and so many problems. Surely they're working on this, right? Am sad I can't play it without it crashing so soon. :(

I'm also having this issue with a 4090. There's no chance it's using all my VRAM. lol

I also have this issue with a 4090, alot of issues were addressed with the recent patch but this is still broken. Sometimes I cant even get from one savepoint to the next before it crashes and I have to start over. This is terrible.

I have confirmed with monitoring software that I am not running out of VRAM

I saw my usage creep up to 21gb on my 4090 but never got crashes.

Strange. I got a RTX 2080, and only had one crash so far.
That was before the latest patch though.
But wouldn't surprise me, if it starts happening later in the game.
Playing at 1440p, and about halfway through now.

I'm using EA Play Pro, to play the game.

Doubt it will as its something to do with their config, even if they hate to admit it. There must be some other software running on their PC that is asking for exclusive GPU use, and they just don't know it.

But hey, that's the new frontier of software and hardware for ya... This won't be the first game that interacts badly with their systems. It just happens to be the first one using those API calls that do.
