Currently as of right now, the Steam version will also use the Uplay launcher as with most Ubisoft games within the past several years on Steam.

This could change, but I find it unlikely that it will.

Most of the time, I can deny the request to elevate permissions (both in the launcher and the game). Rarely, the launcher wants to update and I'll be forced to let it elevate permissions, but I'll close the launcher and start again afterward as a standard user, denying the request.

Well you could get the game on a PS5 if you have one. I don't think you need a launcher on PS5.

I am annoyed that I need EA play to play Star War Jedi Survivor and also Fallen Order. If I was going to get Star Wars Outlaws, I would just get it on my PS5.

True, all games Ubisoft in Steam just like client launcher, no steam achievement. But I don't want buy in Uplay, hmm maybe I waiting Steam version or buy PS5 version, I waiting PS5 fps performance, I feel bad for PS5 version

I already have an account with Ubisoft so that doesn't matter. When I launch the game from PS5, I don't need to launch another launcher within my PS5 to play the game. It just might need me to log on with my Ubisoft account.

I still find it dumb that they require an online connection or verifcation check to play the game.

PS5 version graphcis look much downgrade, I think I waiting PS5 Pro version, I think in PS5 Pro will be upgrade graphics.

I don't have problem with Uplay connection but I want my games collection in one launcher :)
