The gameplay is fun but the performance is disgusting.

I got it for 15$ a year after release and still feel like i got scammed because the game barely runs on a high end rig. Constant stuttering, freezing, crashing. This game should not be allowed to be on steam until the performance is fixed (it never will be because devs dont care)

Loved the game. Patch 8 was horrible but after doing some fanagaling it was able to make it work with just adjusting in game settings. Patch 9 turned the game to a potato. No matter what graphic setting i put nothing changes. I have heard it was an improvement for some people and others have the same as me. if buying maybe wait until they fix this patch?

This is exactly what a sequel to strive to be in all but one glaring area. The exploration is made better with map upgrades revealing whatever you may have left of the countless cosmetics to collect, echoes to find, and scans to do. Bounties are fun, mounts are fun, the story has several surprising and awesome moments to experience. All of this SEVERELY dragged down by what has got to be the most shameful excuse for performance I have ever experienced. I'm playing on a 4080 and ryzen 9 7900X with 32 gb of ram @1080p and yet I consistently have significant frame drops when traversing, there's horrific visual bugs absolutely everywhere. Half of my playthrough all the cutscenes would flicker black. What should be an extremely easy sell is dragged so heavily by just how abysmal the performance and bugs are. The only way I can suggest playing this is either on console or with a very high end pc while expecting plentyyy of issues.
