For the first time ever in TEKKEN history, TEKKEN 8 adds an entirely new chapter to its story mode, expanding on “The Dark Awakens” storyline, which continues the clash between the Kazama and Mishima families. “The Dark Awakens” story mode expansion will be available as a free update for all TEKKEN™8 players.

TEKKEN 8 revealed its roadmap for the months to come, which includes battle adjustments, free additions and second DLC character, Lidia Sobieska.

Starting this spring, battle adjustments will be made as the development team continues to work on improving the balance of the game as well as the player experience.

This summer, the first free updates will be out, including the release of a new stage, the Seaside Resort, and introducing the Photo Mode.

In Autumn, a brand-new story, involving Eddy Gordo, will come for free to TEKKEN 8. Additional modes, such as Ghost vs. Ghost or Online Practice are planned to be added at a later date.

Last but not least, the Prime Minister of Poland, Lidia Sobieska, makes her return in TEKKEN 8. She will be available this summer with an early access for Character Year 1 Pass owners.

Hot on the heels of EVO Japan, the TEKKEN WORLD TOUR is still underway, as players all across the globe compete to earn points and try to clinch a spot for the TEKKEN WORLD TOUR Finals[bnent.eu].

TEKKEN WORLD TOUR 2024, the first global competition featuring the recently released TEKKEN 8, will start on 13 April 2024. Players can register now on the Esports TEKKEN Portal.[tekken-esports.bn-ent.net]

Starting with the Electric Clash 2024, happening on 20 April in Ontario, Canada, players will be able to compete to become the best ranked TEKKEN 8 player.

The 2024 edition will feature two leaderboards: Global and Regional, both used to decide the best players that will qualify for the TEKKEN WORLD TOUR 2024 Finals.
