Getting it with the evolution gift box thing (ugh names) it will go into your inventory at lvl 1 instead of 6 and you will be unable to upgrade it until you have something else to upgrade. Otherwise the game assumes it's max lvl and lvls it up as if it was max lvl. If you finish upgrading other things and it's left for last it will disappear again from lvling options.

I wanted to try tri-bracelet again with the new multi-shot darkana. I really love the darkanas btw don't change them significantly :)
