but nothing really stops you from autoamting it ig you really want to, theres even some ready made script on the discord for that, your game your decision
When did you last try this? I'm playing through just now and find that the game detects the automation, sends you straight to hospital and pops up a toast warning not to automate this minigame.
Like redmist said it's been updated to detect when you automate it and kicks you out of it with a warning.
The whole thing is actually pretty ironic given the actual premise of the game i.e the entire world is itself a program (like the Matrix, thus the "Red Pill" augmentation) thus you should still be able to hack infiltration similar to Neo being able to "hack" the world around him.
but i cant imagine that its impossible to bypass :D
also this game DOES want you to hack it, just gonna point to source file -1 and let you go from there >.>
you cant get them without hacking the game
also, i do get the frustration, i kinda refuse to play those minigames, not my cup of tea
but then again, thats fine, you dont have to love every part of this game, it has enough challanges as is and if you really want to you can bypass anything here
Whomever designed corporations and infiltration has no clue what a game is or how to build rewarding game loops. Truly a useless and meaningless part of the game. There's 0 reason to ever touch either of those two parts of the game and they are the most boring parts of the game.
Also, while automating infiltration through in-game scripts is harder now, you still can automate something about it. For example, you can make script that will click point on map, and then - Infiltrate button, then - some "while" cycle which will wait until reward screen appears and then - Auto click for reward button. If you want to play easy (low level) Infiltration a lot - this will save you time.
I remember I spent such a long time getting a script to work for this, and it wasn't but a couple weeks later when it got changed to not allow it anymore
