Echo Point Nova launches very soon! Or maybe even has launched depending on when you read this! Here is a bunch of info you might find interesting or helpful!


Steam Deck is fully supported! I'm awaiting Valve approval but during development I played on Deck all the time. On my OLED model frames are often 50+ with default settings, although there are dips in very dense combat encounters or when big areas load in. Over time I plan on optimizing more!

Here is some Steam Deck footage to give you an idea how it looks and runs!

Like Severed Steel I plan on some interesting free content updates in the future! EPN launches with a level editor, and Workshop support is one of my first plans. I'd like to figure out with the community the best way to handle it, I'm leaning towards something super-seamless (like workshop content gets loaded into overworld from map menu, so its like fast travelling anywhere in game) but there are pros and cons to that.

Anyways the roadmap is a hybrid roadmap / idea pool. I really need to see what players respond to in order to make smart decisions about updates.

Yes we will be releasing the OST soon! We are making sure it is complete and polished and didn't think we could do it justice AND launch on launch day.

But it's over 70 tracks lol, Floating Door went hard.

So a good way to understand it is to compare to the demo. You might remember a big chunk of the demo was the metal halfpipe highway section, I've marked an area roughly the same size of it on this picture of the full game map (look for the red U shape):

So as you can see much bigger! The demo had 4 scan fights, whereas the full game has 34. There's also 45 hats, 54 perks, 200 agility orbs, 19 firearms, 4 offhand powers, and 4 colossi bosses. There is a main quest which has you hunting for underground artifacts, sometimes with your pickaxe, between scan fights and colossi fights. And then of course there's lots to do after the credits roll!

In celebration of Steam FPS Fest, we have updated the Echo Point Nova demo! New features listed below:

• Kill enemies to unlock weapon mods.
  
• Collect agility orbs to level up your jump and grapple hook.
  
• New jetpack enemy.
  
• Improved boss fight.
  
• Lots of adjustments to gameplay, balance, graphics, and performance.

Due to the changes in progression old demo saves don't work with this update, but you can access the old demo in the Steam betas menu.

The Echo Point Nova Next Fest demo update is live!

**Experimental** PVP. (Its really just a friendly fire option with some rules changes when its on). To try, each player should find the new PvP module hidden underneath the very first island. This doesn’t mean I’m planning on a real PvP mode, I’m just trying things out.

New module: One hit kill. Some players wanted even more challenge. Hidden beneath the first island is a module which makes you die in one hit. Have fun!

Graphics toggle to turn off camera shake

New aim sensitivity options: Can set separate aiming and regular sensitivity, can also set seperate pitch and yaw sensitivity for each.

Objective markers now hidden while ADSing

Fix issue where hoverboard didn’t go away when player died while surfing

Fix issue where grapple never goes away if player dies while using

Can grapple out of wall grind now

Major update to the Echo Point Demo is now live! Featuring:
