As with many developers that get acquired or sell themselves to corporate publishers - they get progressively gutted and restructured until only the name and franchises remain - but everything and everyone that made previous things great is either gone or suppresed.
What remains is a puppeteered corpse preying on people's nostalgia to once legendary studio now turned into a grotesque mockery.
It's not confirmed but it's been very heavily implied that Bioware got purged of all but the bare minimum needed to work on the new ME game in the last 48 hours.
Find something else, and enjoy it while it lasts, or replay older title. Personally, i am going to replay DA Origins again.
We can hope for ME5 to be their Zero Hour
Big Corp cannot do smaller game. They just die.
