The games been dead for a while, a big reason is once the hype is over and players drop off to a regular value. They're then matched to whatever lobby is open asap regardless of players. This then means less players and many more empty lobbies until today when its not worth even trying.
Why was the game allowed to do this to itself and why did no one do anything about it when numbers were dropping? Why did they not urgently add a lobby list where returning players could join populated games? Rather than this roulette wheel of available empty servers?

They have DLCs, updates, and even events with devs but no game to play? Is anyone home?
It seems like some billionaires fun project: artwork, gameplay, DLCs, future updates, adverts. Then has another idea then forgets about it and moves on with no idea this is still onsale.

I cant get my head around why someone would invest and make a game which people were buying, offer paid DLCs, then do nothing to retain players... NOTHING! And still update it, announce stuff etc? Are these people playing a different game which has players, as thats how oblivious they're coming across.

This is the type of business you setup when you want to shift large amounts of money without anyone getting suspicious.
