Knights and Lesser lords
So, while we were working on the lesser lords, we encountered a small architectural challenge – it's difficult to convert lord characters into knights and then back (for example, grown-up children).

Therefore, to avoid delaying the changes you're expecting, please let us know which option you prefer:

1. You will be able to make knights, but you won't be able to convert them back into lords. And you won't be able to promote knights to lords anymore.

2. Keep it as it is – you can grant titles to hired knights, but you can't make knights out of lesser lords (e.g., grown-up children).

(if you want to vote, here is the link to the same disscussion in our Discord.

By the way, the new inspection mechanic (where buildings don't stop after instructions end but instead reduce productivity by 50%) performed well in tests. We will release it very soon. For those who prefer the old way, there will be a "lazy workers" modifier.

I like option 1. personally as although I can't ever make those family members lord's again I would be satisfied in the knowledge that I sent them into the military to become a knight and they could help by commanding my armies. They would still feel a part of the family but just serving a different purpose.

I would love it if even more if we could have a similar mechanic for the church, sending our overspill of offspring to join the faith and they work in our temples. So you end up with 3 different aspects the crown, the faith and the military. The three pillars of our society.

Yes, the option to make a priest will also be there - the Church will thank you with attitude and rings. True, this lord will leave your province and go to the castle of St. Sophia.

Not quite the same mechanic as the knights, as it would be better if we could keep them in the province and they could help with religious related tasks. But at least it isn't as terrible as simply wandering off. Still it would be great if we had a middle class in between that they could fill (like the knights) and create some more interesting dynamics. Thank you for taking the time to read, great game so far its very interesting and can't wait to see how it evolves!

I'm thinking of the two, #1 is better. I hate the idea of locking them in as a knight, but of the two options, I think that one is better. In an ideal succession situation, you make them a knight for a time, then when the King passes, they can take over.
of the two option #1 is best in my opinion. Having the ability to free up a lord slot while adding to your army and having a pawn that can lead it without using a lord

#1 Since Knights don't have "skills" nor "knowledge" memory, so one-way ticket is more valid option.
Although I deeply hope it can be developed both ways in 1-2 months, later.
Hello i love your game, is amazing, and i think for now (maybe there is a better option later in a few months) ill choose option 1 also.

Could you please insert the nickname of random characters into Chinese? Thank you! Or add an option to save presets
Vertanius 23 Jul @ 10:26am
Option 1 as long as we have a way to put the kids on 'reserve' until we can swap them with the elderly.
RonEmpire 23 Jul @ 10:29am
Option 2.

option 1 would add a better gameplay experience in my opinion. you can just spam enough children if you dont have enough anyways xD

It could go to St. Sophia for a few years to learn the way of the religion and then come back to be the priest of your lands.

I can't find the poll on the discord but I prefer the option one and I share the same opinion as Ben.

1 seems to be the best of the presented options, but I hope that in the long term it can be implemented that the character can become a lord again.
