It call scars... so it suppose to stay.
What need to change is the attitude toward scars should be variable. Some like it some don't.

Warrior in general like people with scars while scholar will dislike.

do you mean how everyone is constantly covered in blood after any sort of fighting and it never seems to get washed off?

same in my game, people with missing hands or eyes are constantly covered in blood. other wounds become scars in time like they are supposed to.

I stand corrected.

However, I believe healing works with Free Lords because I could have sworn I saw the Free Lord I use to command the army come back from Battle with a bloody face and over time it healed.

It's a strange bug though, the character profile updates with a healed face over time, but the actual character remains bloody.

Right now my current king has had blood from head to toe constantly; especially when wearing the 'white wedding garments', which makes for Horrid Wedding Pictures/screenshots. haha
