Hey, everyone –

It’s with a heavy heart that we’re announcing a delay to the launch of I Am Your Beast. This is not something we take lightly and has involved a lot of internal discussion and review.

The new launch date will be September 10th.

We have been staggered by the amount of excitement I Am Your Beast has garnered since our reveal during the PC Gaming Show. Wishlist numbers have been the highest any of our titles have received, and we are determined to live up to that--while also ensuring the team can hit that goal in a healthy and sustainable way.

For those of you who have played the demo, you know this game is a special one. We know that as well. With that in mind, we don’t want to release anything that isn’t up to the standards of stability and quality you know and expect from Strange Scaffold.

Game development is difficult, time-consuming, and uncertain work at the best of times, and it’s never easy to make a decision like this. We’re a small team, and we appreciate and thank you for your passion, support, and patience. It’s what keeps us going.

So first, the bad news. The I Am Your Beast demo will come offline on July 31st. We know, we’re sorry. But, bonus, the game is releasing here on August 15th, so you won’t have long to wait! Even better news, we want to put something you do in the final game.

Whoever can get the best time on the fourth level, Round The Twist, will get that time tucked away somewhere in the level itself on release. You’ve got one week to get your best time, get a video, and send it over to us! Here’s a few rules, because it’s not fun if there aren’t rules! Unless it is.

▶️ A full video of the run is required. We suggest a YouTube upload!
▶️ If more than one fastest time is the same, whoever entered first takes it.
▶️ Winner chosen at Strange Scaffold's discretion
▶️ The decision is final.
▶️ Entries no later than 9 am ET July 31st.
