The Last of Us offers a narrative depth and emotional intensity that very few games have managed to capture. The bonds between the characters are shaped by both the events within the game and their backstories, providing players with a profound experience. With its intuitive controls, exciting combat mechanics, and exploration elements, The Last of Us offers a rich gameplay experience. The game places great emphasis on resource management, encouraging players to think strategically. The elements of stealth and strategy require careful engagement with enemies, making each moment unique and immersive.

The story and immersion is masterpiece, and I enjoyed every minute of it. However, I found Joel's animations and movement to be quite janky at times. The game leans heavily into the survival, which might not be for everyone.

If you're interested in the story but aren't a fan of fast-paced gameplay, I'd recommend waiting for a sale.

What can I say that hasn't been said about this game already? It is probably my most favorite game out there. This PC port looks so damn polished and clean. The ambience of The Last of Us just seems so right in every department. The music is magical to an extend that it transports you straight into it's melancholy atmosphere. This world portrays a zombie apocalypse the right way in my opinion. The earth slowly regaining its former territory from humans. Talking about the humans. They're desperate and try to grasp any straw of hope they can find. This game taught me many things especially in the cruel nature of humans during crisis. Deep down even the harshest old veteran stuck in his ways can open his heart in a time of distraught and let someone in. Accept them as one of their own and does anything in his power to hold them close even though it comes with major consequences. Just a masterpiece straight up.
