It takes a very special type of dev to make his biggest fans into enemies.

The game was good, and development was good. Then he created a bunch of new achievements, after many had completed the game. That's annoying, but okay, I get it. Then he starts trying to milk players to spend more money, make the game obnoxiously grindy, and yes, add even more achievements, once many of us had completed the game for the second time. That's annoying, and made me want to give up. But, I had invested so much time that I wanted to keep this game on my 100% list, because games like this are typically built with achievements in mind. So I complete the game again... Then he does it AGAIN! And this time the achievements are sooooo painfully grindy, I swore I wouldn't do it. But, I've invested so much, it felt terrible to give up on it. So now I'm plugging away, again, playing a game that I absolutely HATE at this point, for a dev that seems to mock his main playerbase by stripping away their efforts and creating more pointless grind. I loved this game, and now I hate it.

If you're thinking of getting 100% achievements, recognize it will not only take hundreds of hours at this point, but it will also take over a year, regardless of how good you are, or how much time you sink, because of the time gating achievements.

pure crack cocaine "number go up" game. i have been playing for about 3 weeks and have only since closed this game to play something else, just so my numbers can keep going up in the background. sure there are a lot of incentives to spend real money so some may call it a cash-grab, but there's enough extra content tacked on like daily/weekly quests, a pretty in-depth pet system, and an entire hero-collecting autobattler subgame to make this fun and engaging for at least 30 minutes per day (plus checking back every little bit to buy some new buildings/upgrades)
