is the game still unplayable on 8gb gpus while system reqs recommends 3060ti (8gb) for 1440p 60 fps high settings?

there's still a bug with chain selecting upgrades on an xbox controller where it says triangle instead of Y lol

My specs are good enough for the Amazing Ray Tracing preset here, yet my game has a stroke whenever I try to put the settings that high.
