Could try to verify the the game files or uninstall and reinstall... since the game is so old and not kept up on it, sign in has forever been a task. Try filling in all the information it asks for and try again.

it only accepts certain letters. I cannot play either due to this issue

so ive found that if you click on the boxes and then keep scrolling your mouse around it will eventually accept the input but it means that it takes like 5 minutes to accept the key then theres this long form you need to fill out to actually play so have fun that would probably take like half an hour to fill out and I don't know if it would even work as I believe it would need to connect to a server but I'm fairly certain the company is out of business

Copy and Paste it (Ctrl+c/v) worked for me. (Word/Editor f.e.)

I may have a fix for that (the same fix worked for both E2150 and Knightshift), but since I do not have Win 11, nor i can reproduce the issue in any way, i cannot verify if it works for E2160 too. Please let me know if anyone who experiences the issue would like to test it - it requires running a short powershell script that alters some bytes in the exe in an attempt to fix the input handling.

Had to copy cd-key by each letter from this thred. Alt+Tab crashes game. Also had to copy letters to name new profile.

can someone post a link to fix this issue? I can not register my key for multiplayer. thank you for your help

I cant find the fixes on the Discord, I can only find the one TMP not any for 2160

I resolved this by taking a picture of it on my phone, writing it in the Steam note thing, copy pasting it into the boxes.

C+Ping from Notepad to the Steam Notes should also work, as well as doing similar with the Internet registration.

I tried copy/pasting the Steam key, it says it's invalid. I can't even play the game. And the worst part is that it's actually a good game, I've had a lifetime of playing it before trying to buy it on Steam. It's a genuinely awesome RTS, my personal number one game, but this version just doesn't have a proper serial key! How does anyone get around this?????

Have the same problem with Stalker 2 key.

I just mashed the keys, hitting the next few in the sequence needed, and deleting if I got one too many I didn't need, and moving the cursor as needed. Absolutely ridiculous! Somebody please give a fix for this, seriously.
