Nope, just nope. The original campaign is fine if not a bit worse. The Shaftlock campaign was designed by someone braindead, secrets are abhorrent, balance does not exist. Constant backtracking, grinding etc. It perfectly shows how heroes of hammerwatch sucked. In that regard it is perfect.

To show you how utterly stupid it gets:
I got progressively more pissed off as the time went on. I gave up when I went back to get secrets and stuff I missed when at was at the last act. I couldn't get through the boss, maybe didn't grind out enough lives. You know 2 options you get when you run out of lives? You restart from checkpoint or RESTART THE ENTIRE ACT. You can't just respawn in town. Checkpoint spawns you at the start of the boss so that was a no go. Restarting the act put me back at the start of the last act AND the map was all empty and the best part...? All the secrets stuff and items I got were not there. What is the point of save icons...? How stupid design wise can you be?
