The top review for this game is a joke.

"Whenever you initiate an action, you are stuck for about a second afterwards, unable to move. This includes things like landing from a jump and at the end of a combo, you have to wait before you can move again. The hold time is a bit excessive. That combined with pretty substantial lag in the inputs, which resembles them being queued up, makes the game feel stiff and slow to play." We've got an update addressing quality of life changes and a few bug fixes! Check below for the full details. 🐉🐉

Patch Notes

Optimized online-mode connection.
Optimized the display of "Boot Client" button in the pause menu interface.
Added connection status icon for players to better understand connectivity status.
Fixed and improved survival mode wave randomization.
Fixed survival mode online issue where the client player does not receive tokens after the host player quits online survival mode.
Fixed issue where character gets stuck if the controller is disconnected while the character is knocked back and lying on the ground.
Fixed story mode character select menu where the text "Primary Character" and "Secondary Character" may not switch when switching character.

Is the online broken?

Hi, Since the DLC was launched I tried to play online but I cannot find rooms and if I find a room I get disconnected. I am not certain if I need to make some changed to my router/firewall to see and join games or this is an issue that most people are experiencing. Kind Regards...

Really solid and simple brawler with some rogue-lite elements (you can buy upgrades at every break in a level).
It has the largest and quality roster of a brawler I've played, none of the characters feel half-done in relation to others.

It IS fairly short, you can beat it in about an hour so it might not be worth the full price if you don't plan on playing it more than once. If you DO like it, it definitely has enough to mess with and unlock.

I would say it's Secret Base's best work that I've played.
A good specialty sandwich from a local restaurant in a part of town you always pass through.

Watch out for this latest achievement in the game. I didn't buy all the arts. And after finishing the achievement as the last one, i.e. "crown controll 3000", I got this achievement and the last one and I stayed with the last one.

Oh man!!! It's like a time machine for me, it brings a mixed bunch of emotions, redisigned chars and gameplay with nostalgic music and sound effects, i like it, if only it wasn't a rogue-like style, it would've been perfection.
