I posted 8 months ago about how obnoxious the sound was that appeared (i.e., created and not from the original terrain/environment) when you build a house (basic wood walls and such, nothing too fancy). It was a combination of monkey shouts and cavern water drops. It's both annoying for the ears, frequent, and totally unrelated to my house!

And alas, despite a former response from the devs, it has not changed 8 months later.
