I went into Alice: Madness Returns with low expectations, but this game totally caught me off guard—in the best way possible. It’s a visually stunning experience that blends a twisted version of Wonderland with intense platforming and combat. Sure, the mechanics can feel a bit repetitive, but the atmosphere and art direction make up for it. You’ll find yourself completely lost in the nightmarish beauty of its world, even when the combat gets clunky.

The game’s dark, psychological tone is perfectly executed, keeping you engaged despite some dated elements. Definitely a hidden gem worth playing​

PC Port is a mess, only AA method is 4x MSAA, with 30 FPS cap, forced V-sync and multiple gamebreaking bugs.

Shame as I would have recommended this game if the port was half-decent. The story, visuals, artstyle and physics are great and hold up well for a 10+ year old game.

If you are on a really old device and you get lucky with avoiding the bugs, I'd say go for it on a 85-90% sale. Otherwise, I'd say skip it.
