This game is incredibly disappointing, and just plain horrible. While it's still in early access, it lacks any real substance aside from the building system, which is deeply flawed and heavily reliant on RMT, with items you won’t even be able to keep after the full launch. The player base is sparse and inconsistent, and many players are toxic—just waiting to grief or steal from others.

The developers seem to have no clear direction other than finding ways to squeeze more money from players. There's no real lore or story, just a string of empty promises and half-baked ideas. They appear uninterested in player interactions or addressing issues. When it comes to toxicity and griefing, their response is to tell players to figure it out themselves. It's obvious that their focus is purely on profit, with no genuine passion for game development or concern for the community.

AVOID THIS OVERPRICED GAME AT ALL COST!

Looks like it could be an excellent game, unfortunately I got this as it stated co-op but it has no private game co-op abilities at all and the multiplayer servers were high or full that the game was impossible to play smoothly, very very laggy. I’ll wait until this game has been updated with the coop option.

Okay First things first. I liked playing the game. There are a lot of bugs and animations that look strange. But for what its worth i could play this by myself and have fun. Now i thought this was going to be a world where i can join servers or play by myself. This is not the case. I just read somewhere that this is going to be a monthly subscription. If that is the case i would not recommend this game. If you wanna go down the WOW train sure be my guest. I stopped playing wow because its crazy for my to dump that much into such a crappy game. I mean really. I woke up one day and was like i could have bought a used motorcycle with the amount on money i put into wow. All for what, so the nerf my character. Anyway this is about Pax Dei.

The amount of tables you have to build just to you can build something makes no sense.
There is like 3 to 4 tables to do one of the professions
Thats not even the advanced thats just to make A sword.
There is no guide to show you how to get to said product you have to guess and randomly make things.
I am a grinding maniac But with the amount of this and that you need and the amounts you need. It gets pretty hectic.

Here is a suggestion 1. Don't be like the rest. WE LEFT THEM BECAUSE OF THIS STUFF. Paying to keep your land and paying to play is dumb and we wont
Suggestion 2. Allow us to play this single player. Like seriously private server or something. Make that character locked from being able to transfer to Official servers. Something like that.

if you like playing Ark: Survival without the dinosaurs, then this game is for you

After watching the initial videos for this game and seeing the passion the developers had for it I was super excited. After playing for 3 hours I have lost all excitement. This is one of the most Grindy games I've ever played. I thought it was going to be about adventure, exploration, and discovery. All I've done so far is pick out a plot of land(In between all the other abandoned plots from people who left the game) and start crafting/building a place to start from, and have a place to return to. I don't even have a small hut yet. Everything costs so much to build, and gathering resources takes forever. I don't have any clothes/armor/weapons yet. Just a shield and a stone wood-cutting axe. I am near death running from boars trying to find the most illusive resource in the game. CLAY! Can't build or do anything without it.

Unless they change this I won't be playing or supporting this game.

Its tough dont get me wrong, but it is a lot of fun, and then is a lot to do.

I have played World of Warcraft since 2005......no game, until now, gave me one thing I really wanted to see...the freedom to just walk around ANYWHERE...literally. You can go where ever you want !!
I am still into my first 30 days and still trying to build my house, and slowly trying to get to those snow mountains I see so far away.
I have met and spoken to characters from EU, and everyone is trying to help everyone else get started.

the new Unreal Engine 5 is amazing.
Please, at least try to check out a trailer on YouTube...you will not be sorry !
