I appreciated the story's complete lack of cynicism and the sincerity with which it was told. The environments are immersive, the mechanics well thought out and challenging and the polish is extremely high. You can easily tell this was a labor of love from all of the people involved and there's some true creativity on display here. I really enjoyed the first Fisherman's Tale and Maskmaker and hope this studio is allowed to continue making games in this style - they're all absolute gems. Well worth your time.

I thought this game was good (albeit not quite as good as the original) with a sweet framing device. That said it required a LOT more VR tolerance that the original needing to be played in short bursts to avoid nausea (free saving rather than chapter saving would have been nice as a work around for that).

The only section I didn't like was the robot hand section which could have been amazing but was physically quite painful and very difficult to control (I think because of lack of reference points and the by-design lag - I felt really like I was randomly moving my arms and hoping).
