As someone who does rock climbing, this game nails the feeling of making every route feel like a puzzle you have to solve. Movement is satisfying, the climbing routes are creatively laid out and the overall difficulty curve is absolutely superb.

Strongly recommend this game for anyone who's into the idea of a not-too-difficult platformer that still has a pretty high skill ceiling. I really, really hope this game doesn't get overlooked and disregarded as "just another cozy game" because there's truly something special here.

Oh my lord this game makes me shlorp.

What an entertaining game. A fun large map full of silly characters and really engaging climbing challenges. The combination of the silly dialogue, fun visuals, goofy sound effects and music, its a cute, satisfying experience all the way though. The climbing challenges are by far the highlight as they are incredibly unique and varied in their execution. You will never get bored climbing the mountains because every mountain has its own unique gimmick, adding onto the challenge of the previous mountains. You really do feel yourself getting better as you progress. When every mountain is complete, you then have the speed challenges to test your skill even more. The options for traversal are also varied and fun, from a sled that goes hyperspeed on hills, to a straight up jetpack. Some of them can easily cheese some of the climbs, but thats for you to choose if you wanted to do or not. My main complaint about the game is 100% completion is VERY annoying right now. There are lots of collectibles and quests you can take on from NPC's, but there is no guidance on where the ones you missed could be. The quests don't even show you what you missed, you need to look up a list online. Then when you figure out if you still have a quest to do, you need to go locate the one NPC in the entire map, including on the mountains, who will give you the quest. Very frustrating stuff, hopefully there will be some kind of quality of life update for that in the future.

Overall one of my favorite games of the past year, highly reccomend you pick it up if you like silly games with unique gameplay.
