What exactly means "standard infantry" when it comes to techs like better helmets, greater rifle range, more powerful grenades and so on? Specialised units like raiders, stromtroopers, flamers and so on are excluded - that's clear, but do elite infantry (and conscripts) benefit from these techs as well? In the descriptions of the elite infantry it says something like "standard infantry made out of seasoned veterans", so the are described as "standard infantry" and to my understanding this is just a way of measering/showing their experince. it's not another branch or unit type. But on the other hand in the unit desciption the "regulars" are listed as standard infantry. Honestly I'm confused...
