Is capturing of Hasselt enough for encirclement of northern group of german forces or I shoult take the Maaseik too?

Hello. I try to encircle german forces by pincer from Ypr to Hasselt. Theoretically this should been enough, but after capturing I see, that no effects of encirclement shown on the provinces. So should I take also Maaseik?

Regions are only encircled if cut off from a supply zone, such as the one directly above Ypres (for the Germans).

If you say about half-hex left of Ghent and above from Ypr - there is no way to this hex nor for my forces, nor for AI. Indirectly this approved by absence of province name on this half of hex and also by that AI doesn't try to seize that location by his troops

I'm talking about the one to the right of that which the enemy forces have troops in and is a supply zone for the central powers. It is their only supply zone in Belgium and the only one outside of Germany itself.

You have to take Maaseik too since it is part of the supplyline!

Because they are still connected by the port that you still haven't taken. The one I told you to take the first time.
