Eddie was supposed to look obese.

I was afraid of how Eddie would look like on the remake. It's one of the weakest aspects of the original. However, it looks disturbing and really well done, and better than the original. Great job on that one for sure.

Only an obese person could eat pizza in a town full of monsters.

In the original, he wasn't even particularly fat at all. But the remake is much better than the original.

Right, the entire point being lost on him, he was coming to Silent Hill to execute his COACH, when he didn't make the team, and he gained weight further after being canned, so, yeah, it's not the same Eddie, at all clearly..

He was supposed to be obese and I actually think he looks better here. He looks more wretched and even more like the type who would have been bullied. I just hope that they keep his friendship with Laura and how he was on good terms with James. I think that Eddie was actually a good person really despite the fact he did some bad things. It really came across that he was pushed too far by his bullies. I always felt really sorry for Eddie.
